“Grow in the South Fund” (Fondo Cresci al Sud)

HOW IT WORKS

INVITALIA, with the resources of the Fund, makes direct investments in the following financial instruments:

  • shares, investments and in general securities representing risk capital, including during the IPO
  • bonds issued by the same companies and/or other forms of financial support, which are normally associated with total conversion rights into shares or units of the capital of the financed company, under predetermined conditions
  • other participatory financial instruments, which are normally associated with total conversion rights into shares or quotas of the capital of the issuing company and/or rights to purchase or subscribe to shares or units of the capital (warrants) of the financed company or of the companies in which it has an interest or in which it participates;
  • any other instrument or security that allows the acquisition of the financial instruments indicated in the previous points
  • option contracts for the purchase and/or subscription of the financial instruments indicated in the previous points

The co-payment of the transactions is indicatively within a range of 1 and 10 million euros, it being understood that the amount of each investment will not exceed 15% of the fund’s budget.

INVITALIA operates by investing the fund’s financial resources together and at the same time with independent private investors who contribute at least 50% of the planned resources to the investment.

The duration of direct investments is approximately 5 years, also in order to allow the achievement of the objectives set out in the shared development plan.
