Biography
Born in 1954, from Agnone, Molise, Rocco Sabelli was appointed Chairman of Invitalia on 8 July 2022.
He has extensive experience in the industrial field with positions in major Italian corporations.
He was Chief Executive Officer of Piaggio (2003/2006), IMMSI – OMNIAINVEST (2002/2006) and Alitalia (2008/2012).
He was shareholder and Chairman of DATASERVICE SpA (2007/2008), General Manager of TELECOM Italia (1999/2001) and TIM (1998/1999).
Chairman of NuovaINDENI SpA – ENI Group, from 1990 to 1992, he was Operating Partner of the Clessidra private equity fund from 2012 to 2016 and is currently a Partner of the 4R and NUO Capital Funds.
He was an independent Director of TIM from 2018 to 2021 and an investor in the P101 venture capital Fund.
