Invitalia’s 2025 Sustainability Outlook: over 63,000 projects supported with €8.5 billion funding

Major achievements summarised in a video, highlighting the value we generated for communities, businesses, Public Administrations, the environment and people

Over 63,000 investment projects supported by the incentives, with subsidies totalling €8.5 billion (65% in Southern Italy) and investments for €23 billion, which have helped to create or safeguard around 48,000 jobs (51% in Southern Italy).  

These are only some of the achievements contained in Invitalia’s 2025 Sustainability Outlook, which sets out the value generated by the Agency and its subsidiaries for communities, businesses, Public Administrations, the environment and people.

The Group’s role in promoting the country’s growth is increasingly central, as it boosts the competitiveness of businesses and regions, supporting strategic financial sectors, alongside central and local Public Administrations.

The major achievements highlighted in the 2025 Sustainability Outlook are summarised in a video, which pinpoints the impact Invitalia Group’s activities have had in specific figures, across innovation, public procurement, cultural heritage, digitalisation, and internal organisational aspects geared towards a responsible use of resources.

Some of the highlights include:

  • 268 public tenders awarded, for a total worth of €1.1 billion
  • Technical support to 67 programmes provided to local Administrations in implementing the NRRP and European and national programmes
  • 38 equity investments through the Fondo Salvaguardia Imprese (Business Safeguard Fund) and the Fondo Cresci al Sud (Grow in the South Fund), to revamp businesses and their growth
  • Around 4,400 projects in the digitalisation, innovation and research fields, supported by €2.6 billion of granted funding
  • Over 5,300 projects supported in the environmental and energy transition sector, with €800 million in granted funding
