Investment and employment support

In 2013, the Italian Ministry of Economic Development and the Campania Region signed a Memorandum of Understanding promoting a Programme to revitalise the areas hardest hit by the industrial crisis.

The Programme, developed by Invitalia, has a total funding of 150 million euro.

The programme system consists of:

Incentives for investment and innovation

  • Development Contracts for strategic projects of significant size: 80.1 million euro has been allocated.
  • Innovative Investment for medium-sized projects geared towards innovation and competitive improvement: 53.4 million euro has been allocated

Active employment policies
Aaimed at workers who are unemployed, have been laid off and also employed, providing assistance services and training programmes.

Guidance and information services
Carried out in collaboration with Sviluppo Campania

The programme operates in the macro crisis area, made up of five industrial crisis areas covering a total of 281 towns.
