Critical Links Opens New Office in Italy
Critical Links, a global provider of unified voice, data and IT solutions for small and medium businesses (SMBs), announced the opening of an office in Italy. This is the latest step in its successful business strategy to establish a direct presence in EMEA markets showing the greatest potential for cost-effective converged communications solutions for SMB's. Critical Links already has a direct presence in the UK, Germany and Portugal.

The new Critical Links office is located at Castelfiorientino, near Florence, in Central Italy. Mr. Gianni Campinotti, an experienced manager with an extensive track record in selling and supporting VoIP solutions leads the Italian team. A recent IDC survey (The Move to Voice and Data Convergence Among Western European SMBs — an IDC Survey, Doc # MM03Q, May 2008) confirms that SMBs in Western Europe, especially midmarket companies, have been rather dynamic in terms of IT uptake of new technologies, and adoption has been increasing alongside a greater awareness of what the IT market offers. In this context, voice and data convergence solutions have started to grow in acceptance.
