“Investing in Italy: advantages and opportunities”
Propose to the Chinese entrepreneurs of Zhejiang Province investment opportunities in Italy and make a direct comparison between Eastern and Italian companies, along with representatives of the institutions that promote development. This is the business purpose of the meeting promoted by the Invitalia and the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province, under the coordination of Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai and with the collaboration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economic Development of Regions and the Piedmont, Marche, Liguria and Sardinia Confederation of Italian industries.
The Agency presents Italy as the ideal destination for Chinese companies to establish or expand in Europe to implement industrial synergies and to develop new products and advanced services with high added value.
Invitalia, represented by Giuseppe Arcucci - Head of the Inward Investment Department,
illustrates the free of charge offered to foreign companies wishing to invest in Italy.
This workshop is part of the Project "Attraction of investments by several Chinese provinces to Italian Regions", co-funded by Invitalia and the multiregional program for the support of Regions with China (so-called “Programma MAE-Regioni-Cina”).
The meeting, among other things, provides a later opportunity to strengthen collaboration between the Agency and the Department of Trade of Zhejiang Province. This cooperation had started in China about a year and a half ago with the organization of a similar seminar, which has been an important moment of strategic collaboration on foreign investment between the Italian government and the Zhejiang Province.
