Invitalia’s meeting with Swedish delegation

A delegation from the “Swedish Shareholders' Association” (Aktiespararna) - an independent organisation of private investors - attended a meeting organised by Invitalia.

The event took place in Rome at Invitalia's headquarters on May 7th, with the participation of a representative of Confindustria and some members of Invitalia Business Network – the Network set up by Invitalia with the view to identifying qualified foreign investors, desiring to invest in Italy and providing business excellence services.

An overview of the Italian business environment, banking networks in the service of foreign investors and technical information on M&A and joint venture have been the main subjects of the discussion, examined by Unicredit, Studio Martelli&Partners and the Confederation of Italian Industries.
The meeting has also represented an opportunity to illustrate some business projects in logistics, one of the most growing sectors in Italy.

Concluding remarks have stressed the importance in strengthening Sweden-Italy relations and in exchanging information about potential initiatives between the two countries.

The “Swedish Shareholders' Association” (Aktiespararna) is a member of the World Federation of Investors, which today encompasses investors' organisations in 20 countries, representing about 500 000 stockmarket investors.
The association is also a member of Ägarfrämjandet (which promotes private ownership in Sweden), the European Shareholders' Group and the International Corporate Governance Network.
