Think Italian, new strategies to attract foreign investment

Banks, law and accountancy firms, private equity funds, consulting and auditing firms have been the main actors of "Think Italian", a meeting dedicated to reporting policies and strategies to attract foreign investment in our country.

The event took place in Rome at Invitalia's headquarters on April 15th, with the participation of 32 members of Invitalia Business Network – the Network set up by Invitalia with the view to identifying qualified foreign investors, desiring to invest in Italy and providing business excellence services for starting up and developing a business in Italy- together with Confindustria, Unioncamere and foreign Embassies.
The meeting has represented an opportunity for the creation and enhancement of synergies and for the exchange of business opportunities information.
Environment and renewable energies and attraction of investments from Eastern countries have been the main subjects of the discussion, introduced by Nicola Piazza, President of Invitalia, and Giuseppe Arcucci, Inward Investments Director of Invitalia.

Qualified representatives of IBN companies - Unicredit Corporate Banking, BNP Paribas, Eambiente, Studio Legale Mormandi, Studio Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati, Studio Legale Jacobacci, Sterpi, Francetti, Regoli, De Haas & Associates - attended the seminar as speakers reporting experiences and technical information.
Concluding remarks have been given by Vincenzo Donato, General Director DG Programming & Management of National Resources for Regional Policy, Department for Development and Cohesion Policies of the Ministry of Economic Development.
