A delegation of over 30 people among institutional representatives and businessmen coming from Guangdong Province and Macau Special Administrative Region attended the event organized at ICE headquarter in Rome (Via Liszt,21). Chinese entrepreneurs active in different sectors as construction, real estate, tourism, trading, consulting, wholesale and retail, had the opportunity to meet Italian firms wishing to invest in China and aiming at attracting foreign investment in the above mentioned sectors during bilateral sections.
In order to promote a deeper integration between the two economies and to address investments from the Republic of China towards highly innovative sectors, a fruitful and long-lasting cooperation characterizes the relationship between INVITALIA and DOFTEC.
The Italian counterparts were represented by Marinella Loddo, Head of Industrial Collaboration and Relationships with International Organizations Division of ICE; Giuseppe Arcucci, Inward Investments Director of INVITALIA; and Rui Mi, Project Manager of INVITALIA. For the Chinese counterparts the spokesmen were Zhang Junfang, Economic Ministry of Chinese Embassy in Italy; Wu Jun, Deputy Director General of the Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (DOFTEC) of Guangdong Province; Cheong Chou Weng, President of Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute; and Wang Qingli, Vice Mayor of Zhuhai Municipal's People Government.
