Aleo Solar AG was founded in 2001 and has been listed in the Frankfurt Stock Exchange’s Prime Standard since 2006. It produces and sells solar modules employing silicon cells and provides complete solar systems to the global photovoltaic market.

Cisco Systems opened its Italian branch in 1994; in 15 years Cisco Italy has grown up from 12 to nearly 700 people in five offices: Vimercate (Milan) the Italian headquarter, Rome, Turin, Padua and Monza, where is located the Cisco Photonics R&D laboratory created after the acquisition of Pirelli Sistemi Ottici (December 1999).
