Aerospace: SAT Expo Europe 2010 taking place in Rome

The third edition of SAT Expo Europe 2010, the international exhibit dedicated to Space and integrated Telecommunications applications and services, is taking place in Fiera Roma, from 4 to 6 February.

This year the exhibit focuses on the EGNOS Program for navigation and mobility, and 3D via satellite for cinematography and “live” events.
With its third edition, SAT Expo Europe reaches its goal for internationalization – says President Paolo Dalla Chiara – placing it, with over 20 foreign delegations, among the reference exhibits for Space services and applications in Europe and the Mediterranean”.

SAT Expo Europe benefits from the European Commission Sponsorship, the Alto Patronato della Presidenza della Repubblica, and the Patrocinio del Presidente del Consiglio dei Ministri and the City of Rome’s institutional collaboration, as well as the scientific collaboration of ASI, AIDAA (Italian Aereonautic and Astronautic Association), IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and other scientific research institutes: INAF (National Astrophysics Institute), INFN (National Institute of Nuclear Physics), and the Universitą della “Sapienza”.

SAT Expo Europe is the reference event for the Italian Aerospace Associations (AIAD, AIPAS e ASAS) and is supported by Finmeccanica, Eutelsat, Skylogic, Sviluppo Lazio and Open-Sky.
