Invitalia (National Agency for Inward Investment Promotion and Enterprise Development) and ICE (Italian Trade Commission), with the sponsorship of the Ministry of Economic Development, will take part to the first China Overseas Investment Fair, hosted by China Industrial Overseas Development & Planning Association and China Development Bank, which will be held in Beijing on November 3-4, 2009.
This fair is the first authoritative and professional exhibition regarding China overseas investment cooperation. Over 2,600 top Chinese companies, financial institutions and 70 European government agencies for inward investment will take part to it.
Within the fair, ICE, Invitalia and Federmacchine (National Federation of Associations of Manufacturers of Capital Goods), organized the “Invest in Italy: advantages and opportunities” seminar, which will be held on November 4th. Chinese entrepreneurial community, banks and trade associations will be introduced to Italy’s advantages as a high-quality investment destination and trade opportunities in strategic sectors and namely in the machinery industry.
Moreover, an exhibition area with an information point will be available to introduce foreign investors to incentives and free services package and to organize one-to-one meetings so as to facilitate in-depth knowledge on Italy’s business and investment climate.
The seminar will be attended by a range of qualified personalities such as Riccardo Sessa, Ambassador of Italy to the People’s Republic of China, Antonino Laspina, Italian Trade Commissioner and ICE China Network Coordinator, and Giuseppe Arcucci, Inward Investments Director of Invitalia.
During the morning session, Giuseppe Arcucci will take part to the Forum on “ Current situation and development trend of Global Investment environment ” together with representatives of OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) and international development agencies.
